OIT currently has an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager, PeopleSoft
HRMS, providing technical and functional leadership in the
implementation, development, and support of the PeopleSoft HRMS system.
This is a permanent position only and is responsible for
coordinating and managing the activities of a team of application
developers and analysts; hiring, training, developing, mentoring and managing
the performance of team members; and serving as the customer interface for
the HR, Payroll, and Financial Services central offices.
Additional duties include systems analysis and technical design, evaluating
software change requests and PeopleSoft compare reports, working with
customers to assure quality operations of our PeopleSoft HR system, and
leading testing efforts during implementations, updates and upgrades.
This position is also responsible for keeping abreast of upcoming
developments in the Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM product and performing project
management of large, complex projects.
The successful candidate will possess: 1) an in depth knowledge of developing
enhancements and bolt-on applications using the PeopleTools suite of tools,
including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR; 2) a
strong understanding of standard software development methodologies and
lifecycle, including change management procedures; 3) a thorough understanding
of the fit-gap/business analysis process and methodologies; 4) a strong
understanding of the functional and technical specification development
process; 5) expert communication and analytical skills; 6) strong SQL skills; 7)
expert knowledge in one or more of these HR PeopleSoft 8.x
modules: core HRMS (including Position Management), North American
Payroll, Base Benefits, Enterprise Learning, Applicant Tracking, and Absence
Management; and 8) Familiarity with PeopleSoft Security Administration,
PeopleSoft Portal Administration, Integration Broker, Application Messaging,
and Component Interface. 9) Project Management experience, preferably
using MS Project. Experience with HP Quality
Center, Quest STAT, or HP LoadRunner is a plus.
