At Sam’s Club, we work 24 hours a day to make sure our customers have everything they need. And we need someone to make sure that never stops. In this key role, you will drive sales; analyze, evaluate and forecast financial performance; ensure Associate and Member needs and ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures and regulations. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring risk control standards are met, reviewing and projecting sales trends, utilizing sales forecast to determine scheduling, and reviewing and modifying system-generated schedule as appropriate. Come to us with a strong background in food and retail management and we can help you gain the skills and knowledge to be able to run a Sam’s Club within 6 to 12 months!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates sound financial management skills, including interpreting, analyzing and explaining financial data and information, also monitors financial trends to identify and respond to market changes and other areas of opportunity.
  • Manages budgets and ensures budget and financial performance are aligned with business strategic requirements, and ensures assets, liabilities, revenues and operating expenses are accounted for and reported.
  • Manages the inventory flow process to ensure merchandise is replenished and in-stock, and monitors and evaluates the facility to identify problems with inventory flow and signs of shrinkage.
  • Analyzes data and information to develop plans to exceed Member expectations of service, as well as remove barriers to delivering Member value, service and support.
  • Pursues the achievement and alignment of measurable and meaningful results, and monitors progress of others and redirects efforts when goals change or results are not met.
  • Actively communicates, trains and guides Associates on compliance with policies and procedures, and anticipates potential issues and takes action to enhance compliance.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must have at least two years of management experience.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar retail locations.
  • Strong grocery background is preferred.
  • Must be willing to relocate throughout the United States.
