Diesel Technician

Ransome CAT, Caterpillar dealer for Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware is one of the largest and oldest family owned companies in the Tri-State area.  Ransome Engine, which is our engine division, is experiencing tremendous growth in our service capabilities.  Ransome Engine has recently become a full service preventative and fleet maintenance truck shop. 

Due to this growth we are seeking experienced Bumper to Bumper Diesel Technicians at our corporate headquarters in Bensalem, PA. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of  Bumper to Bumper experience diagnosing, troubleshooting,, inspecting and repairing diesel trucks and have a minimum of 5 years experience with diesel engine rebuild. Candidates should have their DOT Inspection License(Category 3 State Inspection License) and CDL

Duties to include…

·        Troubleshoot, Repair and Rebuild diesel engines (Cat and other manufacturers engines)

·        Bumper to Bumper Inspection, Maintenance and Repair

·        Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, brakes and chassis, power train and suspension

Experience with Cat, International, Cummins, Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, Mack and/or Volvo engines and truck repair highly desired. .
