Position Background
The Account Executive is responsible for the implementation and execution of all direct marketing programs and initiatives and contributes to their development under the direction of Account Director, Vice President or other senior team members. They must assure programs are tracked, completed and delivered in an expeditious and timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities
• Work with key client contacts to update/report work status and discuss projects
• Completion/delivery of cogent, concise and thorough work orders
• Development/management of critical paths and timelines for each project
• Execution planning and follow-through
• Determine G.P. on each assignment
• Secure job numbers, complete and secure client approval of job estimates
• Initiate, track and reconcile all job related billing and purchase orders
• Track and manage project budgets
• Assist Account Director/Vice President in development of creative/strategic program development and post-program evaluation
Preferred Experience
• 4 – 6 years direct marketing agency or client side experience
• Executional skills set with the ability to understand the client’s business and apply direct marketing solutions such as telemarketing, direct mail, database management/marketing
• Strong logistical skills such as scheduling, budgeting, media planning as well as an understanding of the creative-production process.
• Ability to write a creative brief with appropriate benefit and support elements
• Experience in Interactive Marketing, Direct Response TV/print & fulfillment
