Digital Marketing Manager

About the Job

The Digital Marketing Manager will support a digital and mobile advertising sales team responsible for all display and mobile under TheStreet’s product umbrella.  This individual should aim to positively position the firm’s digital audience as the most effective advertising vehicle for reaching advertisers’ objectives.  This is a fast-paced and innovative environment, often with multiple competing deadlines, so the ability to diligently multi-task is an invaluable skill.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop custom marketing programs while working with editorial and technology teams to collaborate on content and resourced required

·         Compile and analyze internal and third-party syndicated research data from numerous sources to provide actionable insights to the advertising sales team. 

·         Ensure that the research needs/requirements of the digital sales team are met in an efficient and timely manner.

·         Create and present competitive landscape presentations/analysis for distribution to upper level management.

·         Participate in internal client strategy meetings to help brainstorm targeted, creative advertising solutions utilizing the digital assets and strengths of firm in support of RFP objectives.  

·         Interpret client RFP requests and provide relevant demographic information and competitive analysis in support of campaign objectives.

·         Manage and establish vendor relationships not limited to syndicated research and data solutions,

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

·         Must have 3-5 years of related sales/ marketing, operations or research experience in the online media space

·         Strong understanding of new media and the digital industry, including familiarity with syndicated research sources such as: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetRatings, @plan, AdRelevance

·         Familiarity with traditional media research databases and tools such as MRI, TNS/Kantar, E-Marketer

·         Working knowledge of internal web tracking solutions Omniture/ SiteCatalyst

·         Strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

·         Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team

·         Ability to spearhead projects, troubleshoot and manage them through to completion

·         Must be a strategic thinker

·         Requires excellent analytical, verbal and writing skills
