Higher Education is looking for a Digital Product Manager in their Burr Ridge, Illinois location. The Digital Product Manager will manage, sponsor and promote a suite of digital products designed for the Business and Economics imprint of Higher Education.


 


Responsbilities: 


  • Design and lead ongoing field research, including student and instructor interviews, observations, and focus groups

  • Continually collect, distill, and disseminate foundational research to inform product development

  • Create documents and presentations describing the research foundations of our products for marketing, sales, and training purposes

  • Track competitive professional development landscape, keeping abreast of new innovations and developments in the market space

  • Ability to troubleshoot and recommend resolutions to current issues

  • Help train eLearning Consultant (eLCs), sales represesentatives and other stakeholders on the product offering

  • Function as consultant and manager on a given project.  Able to execute on deliverables and strategies established by the Digital Imprint VP. 

  • Identify, contract, and manage third-party vendors for needed tool development

  • Prototype and document production processes for new tools


  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

  • 5-7 years experience in related field  

  • Creative, innovative thinker

  • Strong knowledge of education industry

  • Strong project management and documentation skills

  • Proven success at collaborating across teams of technologists, designers and client-facing staff

  • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, think-on-your-feet business environment

  • Demonstrated ability to enter new situation and effect change

  • Ability to lead and manage simultaneous projects

  • Deadline-conscious, results-driven, and high-performing in a high-intensity environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
