Position Description

Digital Project Manager

Overview:

Fleishman-Hillard Digital, the company’s interactive and online media arm, has an immediate opportunity at our global headquarters in St. Louis for a project manager. This position manages design build Web projects from the initial pitch to implementation, collaborates on setting strategy for client projects, and integrates online communications with other client communication activities. The project manager also supports account directors and account managers in the day-to-day management of accounts in the area of online communications.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include preparing project planning materials (SOWs, budgets, etc.); managing communications and work flow with a team of Web designers and developers, vendors/partners, internal account teams, and external clients; and overseeing the implementation of projects to plan, timeline, and budget.

Additional Responsibilities
• Manage client expectations and team communication flow as it relates to strategic planning, design, development, and delivery.
• Build project plans containing key design and development milestones.
• Clearly represent the team’s recommendations in all client and internal communications.
• Manage project scope, risk mitigation, and serve as usability and user experience advocate.
• Resolve challenges that arise during the process and develop action plans to address potential project roadblocks.
• Manage and/or assist in developing supplier/vendor quotes and relationships.
• Manage and/or assist in securing freelance resources as needed.
• Serve as liaison with internal business partners, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Assist with new business presentations, client calls, and needs analysis.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of interactive project management experience at a public relations agency, advertising agency, interactive/Web agency, or consulting firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate well and be flexible, and precise under aggressive deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Proficiency in use of project management tools.
• Ability to accurately estimate and scope various types of technical development work.
• Ability to manage and track resources against a budget.
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML coding and/or functional programming processes.
• Bachelors degree.
