Ridgeway Place is currently seeking a part time Dining Attendant for our Assisted Living facility in Waterloo, IA.

The dining attendant fosters a positive, comfortable and enjoyable dining experience to residents and guests during meal times. This position requires efficiency, organization, professional demeanor, and timely management of deadlines. This position also requires discretion in carrying out responsibilities and maintains positive interactions with all people during the performance of their job responsibilities. Must support through words and actions the Mission, Vision and Values of the Wheaton Franciscan System.
Specific Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists residents and guests as they enter the dining room.
  
• Offers residents and guests meal and beverage choices.
  Prepares dining area for all meals.
  
• Follows all state regulations with regards to food handling, safety and proper hygiene.
  
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  

Requirements:

• Dining room/restaurant experience preferred.
  
• Ability to read and write and ability to communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.
  
• Strong self-management and organizational skills.
  
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.
  
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
