Position Description:

SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, implementation and management of corporate HR programs including benefits, compensation, HRIS. Consults with senior management to increase organizational performance by recommending strategy for future needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs the development, implementation and administration of corporate-based employee benefit policies, procedures and practices, including health and welfare and 401(k) plans.

Directs the development, implementation and administration of corporate-based employee compensation policies, procedures and practices, including the job evaluation process, corporate incentive plans, participation in salary surveys, and review of the salary structure. Institutes self-auditing programs to ensure compensation practices meet compliance requirements.

Responsible for ensuring that the compensation and benefits programs are effectively and efficiently administered through HR staff and third party administrators. Ensures that high levels of customer service are provided to senior management and employees.

Responsible for employee services including managing the Employee Assistance Program.

Responsible for employee recordkeeping through HRIS. Maintains business requirements for HRIS (i.e., salary, gender, race, job codes, headcount, department codes, etc.) and provides training for HRIS coordinators.

As part of the US HR Leadership team, collaborates with all members to develop, implement and manage HR policies, programs, practices that support the business.

Works closely with counterparts/colleagues globally to determine which compensation programs and policies should be applied consistently globally and when local practices should prevail.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred. CCP/CBP and SPHR desired.

Ten to twelve years of compensation or benefits related experience, including a minimum of five years management experience. International HR experience is a plus.

Travel requirements approximately 30%, domestic and international.

Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

Must have high level of PC / systems expertise. Must be able to work with highly confidential and sensitive issues. Must be able to apply decision-making principles to make sound recommendations. Must be effective in influencing management to own and commit to key initiatives. Must be able to understand the business area and customer requirements. Must have fundamental understanding of key principles for managing projects. Must have strong/effective communication skills as well as presentation skills. Must be a team player. Must be able to interact with all levels of management, both domestically and internationally.
