NEED A FREE PLACE TO LIVE AND A JOB?  Heartfelt Homes, Inc. is now hiring for a LIVE-IN DIRECT CARE SPECIALIST for one of our group homes in Brooklyn Park. This job is ideal for anyone trying to save money in this tough economy that would enjoy providing personal care & programming services to 4 males with Developmental Disabilities as well as having a free place to live on-site in an apartment like setting.  In exchange for doing overnight (asleep) shifts, we offer free food, utilities, a garage stall, and storage shed in addition to an apartment with your own bedroom, and living room area. The kitchen and bathroom would be shared. No pets, children, visitors, or additional roommates permitted due to client confidentiality and liability issues.

PAY:  You would be paid $10.00 per hour for M-F 7:00am-8:00am while you assist clients in their morning routines and get them off to work/day programs. The overnight (asleep) hours are in exchange for room and board and those hours are Sunday through Friday 10:00pm-6:00am. Saturday from 6am-7am is $7.25 per hour and 7am-8am at $10.00 per hour.  You get Saturday nights off, Saturday from 8am - Sunday 10pm you are off and not expected to be at the home.  There are other paid weekend and evening hours available if more hours are desired. 

REQUIREMENTS:  A one-year commitment is needed as turn-over is difficult on clients.  You must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license and pass a MVR, Criminal Background Check, and Drug Screening.  Training is provided.  We require all applicants to fax in a resume to be considered.
