What you will do


Reporting directly to the VP Global Customer
& Sales Enablement, this role is responsible for delivering insights through
data within the “Ease of Doing Business” (EODB) Navigator initiatives and sales
CRM and beyond.  This includes leading
strategic review, evaluation and data load oversight pertaining to all
accounts, analytics and other aspects from development through implementation.  Additionally this person is accountable for
data management and governance.  This
role is the overall “Business" owner with ultimately responsible
and accountable.




How you will do it


  • Business owner with overall
    responsibility and accountability for data management and governance per
    the applications outlined above. 

  • Leadership and direct oversight
    and guidance to both business and IT resources/ processes so that
    customers have the correct experience on Day 1 within the Navigator

  • Develop, update and deploy business processes around
    account, user, contact set up and management

  • Holds the applicable applications and
    Natural Business Units accountable for channel alignment and ERP customer
    master data ensuring customers obtain the correct access to view and
    purchase within the Navigator

    • The role goes beyond the
      typical CRM or MDM-type IT roles because the person is responsible for
      aligning the data team on reconciling CRM assignments and customer master
      data from the various ERP efforts to drive alignment on difficult
      customer account management specific to what is required within the
      Navigator portal

  • Blocks and tackles complex
    customer setups for the various IT teams building on the platform by
    engaging Channel Sales, Marketing, and Product Management

    • Advocates for the customers
      (internal and external) Navigator releases so that capabilities are
      queued and launched  with a high-level of confidence that customers
      will have access to the correct products and brands

  • Develops and deploys a robust scalable framework for
    data governance including resources,
    business process changes leveraging technology (eg. data cleansing tools,

  • Leadership
    and direct line reporting for Data team resources

    • Plans and coordinates the
      launch activities of large data loads to meet our ongoing efforts of
      enhanced features to groups of customers

    • Ongoing
      maintenance and clean up salesforce data (accounts, navigator accounts,
      contacts, navigator contacts)

  • Strategy
    develop and management of streamlined data collection and load processes
    including simplified collection methodology for short term manual loads
    and automated processes with error checking in parallel

  • Evaluate,
    recommend and implement processes that cross business functions (SF, SAP,
    Workday, etc.)

  • Eventually this role will be
    the sustain leader for the distributor/ branch/ rep channel relationships
    as the “Super Delegated Admin” of
    the Navigator

What we look for


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering
    with five + years of experience in managing complex programs

  • Preferred Sales force experience of 2+ years

  • Preferred – Understanding of the JCI BT&S
    Channel structure or experience in
    complex multi-brand, multi-channel
    structures with branch operation exposure

  • Solutions focused orientation

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Proven track record in leading a
    broad group of stakeholders on data and lead the development and deployment of
    organization wide data management and governance program

  • Experienced servant
    leader with positive approach and demeanor

  • Functional knowledge of
    Salesforce data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet
    our complex data needs

  • Knowledge/Experience of
    data requirements, process methodology and related applications

  • Excellent managerial and
    program management skills especially working with Agile development teams
