This leadership position is responsible for ABD long term care implementation.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Management of the implementations of aged, blind, and disabled long term care Medicaid contracts

  • Management of MIPPA compliant contractual provisions of dual SNP agreements

  • Oversight of project managers and associated staff relating to contract implementations

  • Serve as Medicaid contract/implementation SME and national resource to field operations and functional areas within Ovations and Americhoice.

  • Problem resolution including root cause analysis for a wide range of issues impacting new and existing site operations

  • Provide input to the strategic direction and positioning of the ABD LTC product team

  • Develop and execute action plans regarding either implementation of new contracts/markets or solution oriented initiatives for site specific or product specific issues

  • Provide advice and direction to members of product and implementation teams and a wide range of field leadership staff

  • Interacts with corporate, regional, and local site leadership and rank and file staff, in virtually all areas.

  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Managed care involvement for minimum of five years, with preferred Medicaid exposure for at least two years

  • Participation in multiple site initiatives and issue resolution in different parts of the country

  • Solid exposure to functional areas such as claims operations, network, IT and systems, etc.  

  • Adept at understanding State Medicaid and Federal Medicare contractual requirements and language

  • Four years prior experience in project management, preferably at least two years in a supervisory role.

  • Adept at functioning within a heavily matrixed environment.

  • Minimum four years experience in recruiting and onboarding staff
