Reporting to the Vice President/ Commercial Operations of an $700 million division with 3,500 trucks, of a $3.7 billion organization with 15,000 tractors and 45,000 trailers, with over 21,400 associates. Which is one of the largest trucking firms in the United States and within the top 100 largest private companies. Will be responsible for the growth of dedicated contract carriage business development including signing of profitable new business, additional business, contract renewals, and maintaining current accounts. Also will be responsible for the complete dedicated sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up with implementation group and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximizes profitability.
Background Required:
