Responsibilities: Manages, Supervises and coordinates all departmental services falling under the scope of Cardiovascular Institute Services. Responsibilities include program development, leadership and supervision of staff. In conjunction with physician medical directors/chair(s) develops and implements plans and policies to meet patient, community and medical staff needs. Oversees continuum of Cardiovascular Services in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Develops and oversees the capital and operating budgets as well as assessment of staffing needs to provide cost effective services that meets operational and financial goals.

Qualifications: BS in Nursing required, Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration is highly preferred. Minimum of three years experience at a Director level with responsibility for overall departmental performance. Working knowledge of CQI/PI principles and JCAHO standards compliance. Minimum of three years expedience within the cardiovascular services specialty. Variable day/evening hours due to events, team member meetings, etc.
