Currently seeking a Claims Director to direct, mentor and coach the Claims management team to ensure that claims are adjudicated in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities include overseeing the P&C team volume, claims workflow and ensuring that the workflow processes facilitate effective and efficient use of resources and provide outstanding customer service. Oversees investigations and evaluations. Manages budget and adequate control of resources to ensure ongoing operations of the Claim department within established budget, productivity and efficiency standards. Provides staff development, training and employs performance management.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Eight years of relevant, progressively responsible P & C claims experience with at least three years in a supervisory capacity
* Strong knowledge of claims management techniques, processes and fiscal systems
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
* Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems with the use of good judgement and decision making skills
* Strong knowledge of insurance policy forms
