Xede is looking for an Economic Development Director for a local  metro Detroit City. 

 

The Economic Development Director will work under the direction of the City Manager. The City seeks to contract an individual to focus on the creation, rather than implementation, of an Economic Development Strategic Plan, Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Program, and Marketing Plan based on the community’s assets and needs. This position may be filled by an individual or a team on a full-time or part-time basis. It requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, urban planning or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and significant responsible economic development experience.
