Farmer Bros. Co. is an established manufacturing and distribution company founded in 1912. We are currently seeking a Director of Compensation & Benefits for our Corporate Office located in Torrance, California.

Job Summary:

Looking for a strong, experienced Director of Employment and Employee Relations that will be responsible for the overall and direction of three distinct HR functions and team members to include employment and recruiting, employee and industrial relations and training and development.  Will be responsible for program function design, problem resolution and day-to-day management of all assigned teams.

Responsibilities:

·     Employment, ER/IR and T & D Programs, plans, policies & systems

-         Design

-         Implementation

-         Administration

·     Contract negotiation and grievance management

·     Have demonstrated, strategic expertise in all areas of assignment.

Requirements:

·     10+ years work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in management

·     National/multi-state environment

·     Field sales, service, national distribution, union and non union and office environments

·     Problem solving, issue resolution and negotiations in the union and non union environments.

·     Familiarity with fully integrated training and development programs.
