Experian Marketing Services is seeking a Finance Director that will serve as a key business partner and advisor to Data and Marketing Analytics Divisions leadership team. The ideal candidate will successfully provide financial management to key business units and its portfolio of client engagements. The Finance Director will successfully partner with key clients in the business, manage a financial staff in multiple locations and liaise with the management teams within Experian on key projects.
Responsibilities will include:
· Manage divisional planning process (bi-monthly forecast, annual budget and mid-year forecast): establish financial targets with Data and Marketing Analytics Divisions regional and global management, consolidate and review business unit submissions, identify major variance drivers and risks/opportunities, develop Data and Marketing Analytics management presentations and prepare what-if scenarios.
· Manage bi-weekly financial forecast for divisions incorporating business unit forecasts and insights.
· Manage preparation of quarterly trading announcement Q&A support material for global and regional executives.
· Manage the review and analysis of monthly results against operating plans and prior period performance; identifying variances and mitigating shortfalls as appropriate.
· Manage design and content of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for senior management.
· Provide subject matter expert support for all global technology/integration projects.
· Lead staff development program. Coordinate review of analysts and identify opportunities to develop their skill sets.
· Ad-hoc analyses for senior management.
· Evaluate and monitor key performance indicators and financial / operational metrics; identifying trends and convey and/or make recommendations for action to senior management as appropriate.
· Manage economic and competitive trend analysis.
· Drive strategic initiatives across divisions, including cost savings initiatives and process improvements.
· Quantify and monitor the financial impact of initiatives and new products/business cases.
· Continually evaluate opportunities for Finance to add increased value to business operations
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
· Demonstrated progression and financial leadership in a large corporation, with a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.
· CPA or MBA preferred.
· International accounting and reporting experience a plus.
· Critical thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
· Effective communicator able to interact with senior management.
· Ability to prioritize effectively and manage to deadlines.
· Strong experience managing and coaching staff.
· Oracle and Hyperion Essbase skills a plus.
