Position Summary:
This opportunity will enable an individual with demonstrated leadership skills, a background in consulting and expertise within Financial Services to lead Trillium Software’s Data Intelligence & Governance (DIG) practice. The Director of Financial Services Solutions will work with a dedicated team to leverage the industry leading data quality platform to provide high value solutions to the world’s largest and most complex financial institutions. The critical skills requirements for this individual is knowledge about how to help a prospect or customer (financial institution) measure risk from a business perspective. There are multiple areas where credit/risk calculations can be positively impacted by improved data quality. The Director of Financial Services Solutions must be able to articulate these benefits and design programs that support the requirements of this highly focused, executive business audience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with a number of Trillium Software departments, including Development and Consulting Services, and participate in the design of service and technology configurations that support high value solutions focused on critical data issues impacting Financial Services risk management processes. Target areas include credit risk and Basel II reporting.
· Design validation steps that ensure measurable business benefits achieved through improved data accuracy
· Design Business Intelligence reports that highlight the business benefits derived from improved data accuracy
2. Support Trillium Software Direct Sales teams internationally with solutions, use cases, demonstrations and other engagement steps throughout the sales cycle
· Craft and present solution demonstrations and use cases for prospects and new customers
· Demonstrate the business value to Financial Services firms achieved through DIG solutions
3. Lead customer engagement projects to deliver and implement DIG solutions
· Ensure that DIG solution results meet business requirements for credit risk, Basel II and other key financial risk calculations
· Identify critical ‘data gaps’ that cause increases in Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) reserves
· Create metrics to measure data items and combined elements used in financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Required Experience, Skills and Education:
· 4-6+ years of experience with developing/measuring and reporting on RWAs
· Deep understanding of the components of KRIs and KPIs in Credit Risk
· Extensive Commercial, Retail and Wholesale Banking experience
· Experience with Data Management and Business Intelligence solutions
· Consulting experience desired
· Strong presentation skills, excellent written and verbal skills
· Must be proactive and self-motivated without the need to be managed closely on a daily basis
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· This position will require domestic and international travel
