The Director, Global Application Hosting Services will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of IT business services.

In this dynamic role, the Director, Global Application Hosting Services will:

·          Manage Mylan’s global Application Hosting Services (Platform and Data Center services);

·          Ensure that the full life cycle of these technologies as services are accountable for global applications service delivery and innovation;

·          Optimize server and storage technologies, while also defining these as business services with costs, metrics, and OLAs;

·          Direct engineering of internal data centers;

·          Successfully oversee multiple platforms with a combination of internally managed services and outsourced solutions;

·          Lead, manage and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to optimal levels of performance with heavy emphasis on teamwork and organization;

·          Reduce general administrative costs while improving internal and external customer service;

·          Oversee functional areas such as platforms and other technical service;

·          Introduce innovative solutions that will help provide the foundation for Mylan’s next generation of business applications;

·          Liaise with global Enterprise Application leadership team to ensure business system effectiveness.

The successful candidate in this role will have a minimum of 10 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or 8 years experience with a Master’s degree.  Master’s degree is a plus.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Candidates should have experience in people management, preferably managing professional-level personnel in a change intensive work environment, with significant experience in planning, managing and executing the development of technically complex products and systems.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can work in a global, fast faced environment and have proven ability partnering with executive-level staff in developing, enhancing and communicating product strategies.
