Director HR Business Partner R&D, Manufacturing, Finance

About the Job

This HR Director position, reporting to the Sr. Director Business Partner Human Resources will be responsible for leading HR activities for three key business groups in the company (R&D, Manufacturing and Finance).   This role includes but is not limited to:

 

Advises and consults with their organizations to ensure human resources practices, policies and programs are consistent with FormFactor philosophy.

Provides HR knowledge and manages the implementation of programs in areas of  new hire assimilation, benefits, staffing, compensation, and employee relations, etc.

Works with managers and employees regarding performance management, training, organizational development, etc.  Drive strategies to develop bench strength and succession planning.

Provides business partner consulting to the vice presidents, directors, managers and employees within the client groups.  Assists in organization design, team development and building a culture which inspires and motivates employees. 

Provides business partner consulting to employees to address issues and drive strong employee performance. Keeps a pulse on the people.

Coaches managers and helps them to be effective leaders and great coaches for their people.  Holds managers accountable for fostering healthy work environments.

Ensures appropriate communications are happening within the organizations

Drives change management activities within the organization, across functional areas and regions. Will work closely with regional HR to support Manufacturing and Finance in the regions and drive consistent world wide messaging and programs.

Acts as the primary lead person on change activities

Drives organizational strategies and engages with HR functional areas as needed to implement activity

As a member of the management team for each of the functional areas, participates in regular staff meetings and provides Human Resources perspective to activities and agenda items.

Contributes to the overall establishment of the Human Resources department’s strategies and plans

Serves as a primary communication link between the Human Resources department and organizational area

Identifies the appropriate human resource strategy by analyzing available resources as well as current and future requirements that reflect changes in business strategy, product technology, and organizational structure



Job Requirements:

BS/BA degree and a minimum of 10 years Human Resources experience within a technology company  with some manufacturing experience

Experienced HR business partner experience plus experience in at least one area of Human Resources, such as Staffing, Compensation, or Benefits as well as a strong track record of working in a fast paced, changing environment

Ability to multitask with multiple objectives across various organizations, disciplines and countries

Led organizational change management efforts and understands change management practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment and effectively balance the client group’s interests with the needs of the company.
