Director, Human Resources – White Plains, NY
Marquee organization is seeking an HR Director to provide strategic direction and execution for all Human Resources policies, practices, and programs across four regional offices of a growing division. Accountable for driving standard of excellence in executing and delivering HR services and HR activities across the regional offices, including effective coordination with staffing, compensation, benefits, and diversity initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional leadership for HR planning, performance management, employee development/training, and employee communications.
- Develop and maintain effective and pro-active Employee Relations programs at all regional management and self represented offices.
- Champion effective performance management and manage annual performance review process
- Provide effective leadership on people development
- Leverage HR measurements and process for use within the business to monitor and evaluate the success of HR programs;
- Participate in the framework and design of field compensation programs.
- Coordinate regional staffing initiatives.
- Partner with regional leadership in talent development including conducting formal presentations and training sessions on various human resource topics.
- Manage one HR Generalist.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6-8 years’ experience of relevant HR experience in best-practice, high performance organizations.
- Qualified candidates will have broad generalist experience in all areas (employee relations, staffing, performance management, training, etc.) and the ability to understand key business issues.
- Must have experience delivering results within a changing / growing business environment.
- Demonstrated business acumen with a proven track record of working effectively at both an operational and strategic level.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without control
- The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, which include influencing, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities. Ability to interact with all levels of employees and top management are essential
- Must have strong project and time management skills plus a track record of accomplishments.
