Our client is a currently successful multi-division major company producing consumer and commercial products for a wide range of markets Worldwide. This North Carolina Division includes Manufacturing, Distribution Operations, Sales/Marketing and Administrative operations, and Engineering/Customer Service Departments + others. Employee population is in the 400+ range. Operations are Union Free. Products are highly specialized commercial lines.
Responsibilities:
- Direction of full range of HR Programs for this Business Unit of Fortune 500 Company. Focus will be on Talent Management and on being Director of HR for both manufacturing and sales/service ends of the business for this location and other locations in US. Will definitely have full Generalist responsibility as Director.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree. Masters Degree an advantage.
- 8 to 10 years or more of experience at the HR Director or Senior Manager level in a large company environment at business unit or division or corporate level. Large would be 400 employees and up.
- Comprehensive generalist experience wherein responsibility has covered both manufacturing plants and sales/service groups. Should have led an effective Talent Development program
- Strong academics and professional development are important.
LOCATION IS A VERY GOOD ONE. Flexibility on location will be required of all candidates. Willing to move to a preferred smaller city location in North Carolina.
