Job Description:







Leads talent acquisition for Space and Airborne Systems. Develops and executes a strategy to identify, attract, and hire candidates for a number of SAS organizations across multiple locations, using collaboration and creativity. Provides guidance and direction to two talent acquisition managers and their teams, who work in partnership with HR generalists and their client groups, to design and implement effective, results-driven activities that meet business goals and objectives. Drives talent acquisition processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, compliance with federal and company standards, and the implementation of best practices across all SAS locations. Has oversight for university programs, talent acquisition operations and budget. Manages relocation aspect and relationship with relocation vendor. Works closely with SAS talent manager to ensure critical skills are identified/addressed and candidate pipelines are developed.







As a member of the SAS HR leadership team, actively participates in decision-making that has an impact on the HR function as well as the business. Also serves on the Raytheon Talent Council, which works to set the direction and objectives for talent acquisition across the enterprise. Participates in business level and enterprise wide projects.







Work location will be either El Segundo, CA or Dallas, TX.







Basic Qualifications:







(Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources) OR (Master's degree and 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources). Experience to include all of the following:





-Managing a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources team

-Performing data analytics/reporting and driving data integrity

-Engaging and presenting to executive-level customers

-Driving complex projects to conclusion on time and within budget

- Developing talent







Desired Qualifications:





-Technical knowledge and experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies using a variety of means including direct sourcing, leveraging competitive resources, professional networking, data mining internet tools, user groups, web sites and social networking tools

-Track record of developing strong relationships/influence across a diverse and demanding leadership client base

-Demonstrated success in a dynamic, frequently changing workload environment.

-Experience leveraging applicant tracking and related candidate development technologies.

-Sharp, energetic performer with an eagerness to produce business results through HR solutions

- Track record of taking initiative in devising innovative and proven strategies for sourcing and selecting talent

-Follow-through in a fast-paced work environment; solid management of multiple projects, vendors and tasks
