Director - Internal Audit - 150K NEW POSTING

About the Job

My client, a $10 billion dollar high-growth/International company, is looking for a Director of Internal Audit.  This is a key-hire and will need to meet all requirements in order to be considered.  My VP is looking to pay around 150K at a base with an annual bonus potential of 15%. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or IT  (MBA a plus).
  • Certified within functional area speciality a plus (CIA, CPA, CISA, SIx Sigma, etc.)
  • 10 years minimum applicable experience with roots in Big 4 public accounting and at least 2 years in an internal audit or internal audit consulting role.  At least 3 years in a managerial role with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, etc. (required).
  • Experience in global risk identification, evaluation, management, and monitoring.
  • Direct experience with strategic development and/or execution.
  • Specific functional experience as it relates to an area of expertise in Operations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP requirements.  Knowledge of FASB and Sarbanes Oxley Act section 404 requirements preferred.
  • Project management experience or experience managing audits and/or an audit plan highly preferred.
  • Experience with facilitating workshops highly desired.
