TITLE – Director, International Advertising Marketing Solutions

Scope of Responsibility:
Manage the development and execution of custom multimedia advertising and marketing solutions (TV, Digital, Audio, Mobile, Print, Events) for ESPN International’s advertising customers throughout the US, Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Act as lead partner with the International advertising sales team and regional marketing directors to drive revenue and off-channel support for ESPN properties. Interact directly with influencers and decision makers at the agency and client level. Collaborate with other ESPN divisions including programming, production, events, wireless, hospitality, consumer products and legal. Create fans of ESPN International Marketing Solutions among the international client base.

Job Responsibilities
  • Concept / presentation development and sell-in direct to client
  • Legal components (approvals, rules, etc).
  • Coordinate with internal teams and senior management to secure necessary approvals
  • Team with ESPN consumer marketing in the development of all on-air promotional creative promotions, including legal, fulfillment, creative/production, etc.
  • Cast study development

    Solutions include:
  • Consumer Promotions (on-air and off channel)
  • Online sweepstakes and games
  • Co-branded advertising and content
  • Fantasy games
  • Wireless promotions
  • Sponsored Polls
  • Advertorials
  • Innovative custom Ideas


    Qualifications:
  • College degree, with 10-12 years marketing experience required. Experience with International and/or US media sales and sports sponsorship required.
  • Knowledge of International consumer promotions combined with solid multimedia experience necessary.
  • Proven skills of selling and managing by influence
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to manage and motivate staff as well as provide clear direction in highly charged fast paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and skill in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Spanish Fluency a must
  • Working knowledge of the Latin America, EMEA or Asia-Pacific media markets a must
  • Substantial US and International travel required
