
JOB SUMMARY: Lead/drive areas of professional learning and leadership development for AMERIGROUP. Drive improvements in all leadership forums and partner with all plans and functions to create appropriate curriculum based on needs analysis and business needs. Create and manage pipeline development / learning initiatives and other talent management programs to support associate development and drive business improvement. Assist in coaching, assessments and deployment of Talent Management tool kit.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Professional Skills Training: Lead, design, implement and facilitate professional and leadership training initiatives that improve organizational functioning and performance. Partner with Human Resources (HR) and the business to effectively deliver programs across the organization. Develop process for measuring success and return on investment where appropriate.
2.Leadership Development Forums: Enhance or develop (where appropriate) specific pipeline development forums by partnering with appropriate vendors and universities to support the business and leadership success. Design networking relationships for pipeline talent and provide ongoing support for the various programs. Provide career coaching and manage assessment processes and ongoing feedback. Create appropriate tools and resources to rapidly grow the talent.
3.Talent Management: Assist in the brokering of talent across departments, functions, health plans and the enterprise as a whole so that cross-functional, rotational learning and development opportunities are provided and short- and long-term needs are met. Assist in the roll out of Talent Development Review (TDR) to the Mid-Level and below.
4.Provide coaching and manage assessment processes and ongoing feedback for promotable and high performing talent. Create appropriate tools and resources to rapidly grow the talent.
5.Define learning paths to support career pathing initiatives.
6.Team or Organizational Interventions: Partner with HR and the business to design and facilitate appropriate individual, team or function, learning interventions.
7.Select, develop and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Provide leadership and direction to department staff as appropriate to ensure the quality of departmental work outcomes and deliverables.
8.Manage multiple projects from initiation through implementation and ensures that the project's goals and requirements are met. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning the project timeline and milestones, tracking progress, regularly monitoring and communicating project status, and identifying and resolving issues related to the project.
9.Perform other duties as requested.

Education
Required:
*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or a related discipline or equivalent work experience (6 years).
Preferred:
*Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related discipline.
Years and Type of Experience
Required:
*Minimum seven years related work experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Management with at least 3 years of leadership/management experience and experience in designing and implementing learning / training.

*Previous experience in measuring quantitative ROI of training
