About the Job

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:


Director of Sales & Marketing Administration is responsible for ensuring that the Sales Organization meets defined goals and objectives. 


 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


 



  • Create an atmosphere of success and empowerment within the sales organization
  • Oversee and own data in Salesforce.com
  • Serve as a value-add mentor to sales representatives
  • Work with the sales team to put in place a “success driven” sales management approach, including: setting stretch but obtainable objectives, defining and implementing winning sales strategies, building pipelines, and providing accurate forecasting 
  • Work cross-departmentally throughout company (e.g., with marketing, finance, operations, intake, etc) to develop effective internal relationships and smooth processes that drive sales success
  • Work closely with the CEO and V.P. of Sales on strategy
  • Stay closely in touch with clients and the market overall to provide important feedback on marketing, product strategy, client support and other operational areas to maintain our competitive edge and advantage in the market
  • Represent the sales organization at national conferences
  • Assist in development of the annual sales budget.
  • Manage sales, marketing and advertising budgets.
  • Supervise the planning, development and distribution of marketing and communications materials.

EDUCATION:


 


·         Bachelors Degree


·         MBA preferred


 


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:


 



  • More than 5 years experience supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • High degree of personal integrity


  • Ability to collaborate with others in a fast paced, action oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organizational skills
