Overview:
Primary purpose and function of this position
The Marketing Director is to lead the development and implementation of GCSF & SR GCSF launch plans. He/she will champion the brands and successfully manage the day-to-day activities and results of the brands assigned and serve as point person in achieving results.
Responsibilities:
Leads the brand marketing team in charge of the launch of GCSF & SR GCSF
* Leads the development of the GCSF/SR GCSF strategic platform and business plans in the US
* Lead the implementation of the pre-launch and launch plans for the US
* Support Teva Canada in building above local plans and leverage experiences & resources
* Critically Manage the Marketing organization to insure an efficient use of resources
* Train, develop and manage Marketing Department personnel. Lead, motivate and develop the team of professionals reporting to this position
* Serves as member of Teva Biologics Management Team, sharing responsibility for overall strategic planning, budget development for work plan horizon and direction for the Teva Biologics North American organization
* Provides brand direction and serves as brand champion in entire organization
* Conduct full commercial evaluation of the market dynamics, current and future competitors, medical treatment practice, and unmet needs in order to prioritize and recommend best strategies to maximize the value of the brand
* Co-Lead, with the Biologics Medical Director, the GCSF cross functional pre launch team
* Interface with the sales force to provide with appropriate promotional tools
* ï Plans launch, communications and life cycle management activities
* Sets direction of promotional and educational platform for the Brands
* Creates brand personality and messages as well as manages the creative processes
* Provides input on studies and other scientific issues for the brands
* Develops business case and manages brand'™s life cycle
* Sets brand goals, develops forecasts, manages brand & marketing budget, measures results.
* Coordinate with Global Teams and other Regions launch activities and plans
Qualifications:
* Minimum 10 years experience in the US pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the Biotechnology market
* At least 5 years experience in managing major brand, in developing launch or brand plans
* Preferably in-depth knowledge of the oncology sector with ideally an existing Key Opinion Leader network
* Experience in some of the major disciplines of education and marketing: product brand development, positioning and messages development, advertising, sales materials, direct marketing, e-initiatives, publication planning, congresses, PR''
* At least 3 years of people management experience
* Sales or sales management
