HCSS, a construction software company, is looking for a talented, creative, business-minded leader to use innovative marketing and branding strategies to increase our dominance in our current market and move into future markets. We are looking for a leader who is capable of inspiring and influencing, who can build, mentor and motivate teams – and have fun while doing it!  The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, “Can Do!” team player who has proven to maintain excellent relationships within an organization and earned respect from peers cross-functionally.  The ideal candidate will be recognized for his/her creative, technical, financial, and management ability.  As with most smaller companies, this position will require a lot of hands-on work.


 


The Director of Marketing position is a high-visibility position, reporting directly to the CEO, overseeing all marketing activities for a growing customer base across the United States and Canada. Customer service and customer experience are top priorities as well as introduction of products in the most effective and profitable manner possible. This will be a great opportunity for someone who wants to shape the brand and marketing direction of our company.


 


These are just a few key areas you’ll be focusing on:


 


·      Oversee a talented staff of professionals that provides a full range of marketing services including advertising, newsletters, direct mail, web and graphic design, multimedia development, PR, tradeshows, sponsorships, sales seminars, user’s group meetings, and various other types of events.


·      Strategic planning for marketing, branding, and PR activities to maximize our sales and customer loyalty.


·      Lead the development and execution of HCSS’ interactive marketing strategy to promote and grow brand awareness and increase website traffic in terms of users, page impressions, content development, key word search strategy and overall functionality and look of the website.


Education: College degree, experience in lieu of degree or a combination there of is acceptable.


We are looking for a strategic and creative thinker who can execute under pressure with a positive attitude that possesses the ability to thoroughly understand the complexities and behavior of the heavy construction industry. Not everyone has the ability to see the “big picture”.
