Director, Online Marketing Optimization & Analysis

Summary:

Affinion Group seeks an energetic and self-motivated Director for Online Marketing Optimization & Analysis. This candidate must have a background in online marketing, strong analytical skills and experience with optimization software and web analytics, have great communication skills, and possess creative problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategy for all online initiatives, products and marketing partners.
Spearhead the implementation and utilization of new web optimization and analytical tools, functionality and technology to enhance our overall online marketing performance and efficiency.
Manage the development of test plans, analyze results and determine optimization of the online marketing value chain.
Analyze historical test data to determine new creative controls, offer structure, premium, and product/client combinations

Support sales efforts in the online channel and represent online marketing interests among other internal teams.
Lead the adserving and optimization advancement to maximize marketing efficiency. Identify and prioritize new marketing functionality
Manage client, marketing, and financial reporting and modeling (cancel analysis, ROI, NPV, LTV).
Work with account management team and with clients to launch new marketing campaigns.
Present online marketing success to marketing management.
Work closely with Sales, Product, Creative and Information Technology (IT)
Streamline and improve reporting processes and outputs.
Manage and develop a team of 5 marketing managers, analysts and coordinators.

Requirements

· College degree; MBA a plus

· 7-10 years of Marketing experience with at least 5 years online Marketing experience

· Minimum 2 years Adserving and Optimization experience

· Experience with online analytical, WCM, reporting and optimization tools such as: Google Optimizer & Analytics, Omniture, Doubleclick, and Mediaplex and Optimost

· Strong analytical and presentation skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels within organization.

· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
