About the Job

Job Purpose:


The Director, Professional Services will be responsible for leading detailed assessments of revenue cycle practices, developing management plans to migrate our clients to a Best Practice environment, and implementing the recommended changes identified in these management plans. Additionally, Directors are responsible for providing assistance to Sales and Business Development to identify and secure new business. Directors must also be able to provide significant subject matter expertise in the transformation of Revenue Cycle processes to maximize realizable revenue, minimize denials and accelerate cash flow.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Project Leadership and Management; Development of Division Policies and Procedures;

  • Sales and expansion of client base; Business Development and identification of strategic partnerships;

  • Client Management;

  • Identification of new product lines;

  • Product Development;

  • Revenue Cycle Assessment and Re-engineering;

  • Documentation Assessment and Re-engineering.

  • Ensures the internal control self assessment process is implemented and testing results are documented and evaluated.

  • Helps manage internal control failure remediation efforts.

  • Ensures subordinates’ historical internal control performance is monitored and results incorporated into the performance review process.

Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications:



  • Proven track record of success in a Hospital Revenue Cycle environment.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Revenue Cycle consulting management.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in an acute care hospital or healthcare consulting environment.

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited 4 year university.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong financial acumen; ability to develop budgets, forecast revenue, develop early warning signs and adapt the organization to achieve financial targets.

  • Superior analytic and problem solving skills with an understanding of various clinical and financial operational processes within the healthcare industry.

  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and influence decisions by motivating others to achieve excellence in both the quality of work and their approach to team work.

  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with team members and clients.

  • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members.

  • Proven record of competencies in the following areas: creativity and innovation, customer focus, team oriented, pro-activity, personal communication, impact and influence.
