A world leader in aviation overhaul and repair has an opening in their Southwestern California facility that is located in Mexicali, Mexico. Candidates must have industry experience and familiarity with FAA Repair to Jet Turbine Engines such as: JT9D, CFM56, DF6, PW4000, LM2500,4000 and 6000. Must have audit experience with the FAA, Customers and internal audits. Other essential job duties: defining acceptable criteria for processes and procedures, indicate and participate in the strategic planning of new repairs and business from a quality position, daily troubleshooting of technical and quality issues, oversee and ensure Company compliance with RSM/QCM. Must be aware of ISO/TCS quality standards and ensure compliance with customer/FAA requirements, company policies and procedures. Will need to supervise the performance of staff members, recommend promotional or disciplinary actions as appropriate and reinforce the important of meeting and/or exceeding TAT requirements on shipments. Job location requires a border crossing daily. Facility location is condusive to living in Imperial County or San Diego area. Closest U.S. location for mapping purposes - Calexico, CA.
