Our client is an entrepreneurial exciting leader in the consumer packed goods and foodservice industry. 


 


 


The company markets and distributes many branded frozen-food products and meal solutions to retail and foodservice channels globally.  At this time, we have multiple high-impact roles at the Director and Senior Director level in Marketing.


 


The Director/Senior Director or Vice President of  Marketing will maintain the profitability of the category, and continue to selectively grow it at the same time. This position identifies potential customers along with marketing and distribution strategies with the goal of maximizing the department's profits and share of the market while ensuring customer satisfaction.   Candidate will have strong opportunities for advancement into senior leadership. 


·         Identify and lay out growth platforms for the business.


·         Conduct segmentation of business.


·         Identify and develop the right new products to fuel growth of the business.


·         Prioritize new projects and determine appropriate use of resources.


·         Determine most viable new channels/platforms.


·         Drive innovation of new premium line products.


Key responsibilities include:


·         Manage, coach and develop multiple marketing team.


·         Utilize market research to monitor trends indicating the need for new products and services; create marketing campaigns in response to consumer/customer preferences.


·         Develop overall business plans and marketing strategy including sales, profit and budget forecasts as well as product, pricing, promotion, distribution and market development strategies and tactics.


·         Manage extensive product portfolio and set pricing.


·         Works with cross-functional team to develop support strategy for profitable growth of existing and new emerging product categories.


·         Collaborates with the sales force and customers to evaluate and drive the effectiveness of new products and promotional efforts.


Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of management experience.  Knowledge of and direct experience in the desserts category or pizza category within a retail or foodservice environment is highly preferred.  Individuals will very strong foodservice  marketing management experience in any category will also be considered.  The successful candidate will have experience identifying growth platforms, conducting segmentation of business, identify new product opportunities to fuel growth and drive new product innovation, prioritize key growth opportunities and manage resource allocation.
