Position Summary
As Aprimo’s Director of Solutions Marketing, this leader will manage and work with cross-functional team of product marketing across our two product lines and our Global Marketing team to build market-facing prospect demand generation campaigns and complimentary web content to support key roles key verticals. Aprimo’s Director, Solutions Marketing will collaborate and work with product Marketing to provide guidance and marketing expertise in their development of content to support role-based campaigns and provide US execution support to launch those campaigns. Additionally, the Director, Solutions Marketing will also work with Sales and global field marketing team to identify and develop original content and campaigns to target and attract prospects in key verticals and to leverage complex and integrated channels to reach that target audience, including but not limited to direct marketing, telemarketing, events marketing, online marketing landing pages, offers, and website pages. Director, Solutions Marketing will also collaborate with sales and conduct market analysis to prioritize industry targeted campaigns to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Works collaboratively across product and field marketing to identify, create and execute role and industry based campaigns and while delivering content and campaign framework to regions for localization and execution
- Creates, develops, manages and measues industry-targeted campaigns (financial services, high-tech, retail, CPG, etc) based on industry marketing pains and targeted messages, campaigns, offers as well as sales presentations offers to penetrate and win that market
- Manages all outbound US demand generation programs to support revenue & lead goals
- Designs “Online lead funnel/waterfall” for product lines and works across Aprimo’s products and services to aggregate, polish and leverage content for online lead nurturing programs
- Collaborates with Interactive Marketing team to execute online campaigns with comprehensive lead nurturing programs and metrics
- Manages US Programs and Events team and Market Development Teams (Teleprospecting) to execute and improve campaign results
Scope
This individual will work directly for the Chief Marketing Officer and operates under light supervision with latitude for independent actions. This individual will work directly with executive management, product marketing, corporate marketing and field sales and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Experienced at content and campaign creation including outbound letters, landing page and web content, lead scoring models and online nurturing campaigns
- Experienced team leader with direct reporting and indirect reporting organizational models
- Demonstrates proven track record at executing demand generation campaigns with integrated marketing channels and solid business and revenue results
- Articulate and strong communicator who can present to sales marketing campaign ideas, synthesize and evolve campaigns based on feedback and execute internally and externally
- Experience at using an automated marketing platform and salesforce.com a plus
- Experience in Field Marketing and Corporate Marketing/Communications desired
- Must demonstrate current knowledge of online and offline demand generation practices
- B2B experience required. B2C experience in addition to B2B a plus. BA and or BS required
- Strong analytical and business skills
