Director/Sr Director -Talent Management

Job Description:
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an integrated Talent Management process. This includes the acquisition, development and retention of organizational talent. In addition, the Director/Sr. Director-Talent Management is responsible for Corporate Communications.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide templates, processes and tools for the staffing process throughout the company, including sourcing options and providers
  • Lead and execute staffing for the corporate office and field sales positions
  • Procedures for on boarding new employees including orientation tools and processes
  • Lead the Key Talent Assessment and Succession Planning processes
  • Lead the Performance Management process
  • Develop and implement processes to provide for career path identification and development for all associates
  • Develop and execute periodic associate surveys and action plan development to respond to identified issues
  • Lead the management development, supervisory and associate training activities, including needs assessments, vendor selection and in house training course development
  • Develop and implement the Diversity Plan

    Job Experience:
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
    •Ten years of experience in Human Resources in an industrial environment
    •Knowledge of and experience in managerial and professional staffing
    •Knowledge of and experience in managing organizational development and training
    •Managerial experience an HR generalist in a field role

    •Well rounded business background and acumen with the ability to be a strategic partner not just an implementer of programs
    •Ability to work independently and make decisions that are consistent with the culture and business strategies of the company
    •Bright, adaptable, motivated to change as necessary to succeed

    Education Requirements:
    •Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, behavioral science, business or a related field
    •Masters Degree or MBA (preferred)
