Working collaboratively with the Vice President of Corporate Finance, the Director will assist in completing Treasury and Investment management oversight functions for a variety of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock affiliates. Specific duties will include overseeing and administering all investable funds, processes of cash inflow and outflow, reconciliations and internal controls in consideration of liquidity needs, and coordination of all banking functions. The Director will also execute and administer Debt Transactions including tax-exempt bond financings, lines of credit and capital leases. Other vital responsibilities include:
In coordination with investment consultants, oversee and administer over $1 billion dollars in investable funds,
Evaluate all D-H liquidity needs, including pension funding requirements, and develop monthly, quarterly and annual cash forecasts in order to evaluate the overall adequacy of the investment structure,
Design and implement various Treasury-Based Initiatives in order to streamline, strengthen and enhance the existing Treasury environment across the System,
Coordinate the preparation of an annual EnterpriseWide Financial Risk Assessment for D-H and its affiliates,
Act as Finance Liaison with Human Resources in the administration of various benefit plans that use investment vehicles, and
Assist the Corporate Finance team with a variety of special projects covering diverse and continually changing financial situations and annual 5-year planning projections.
Requirements include Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification as well as a Bachelors degree (Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred) with a minimum of five years of relevant Treasury/Investment experience. Candidates must have a fundamental and working knowledge of debt and investment principles, highly developed writing and computer skills, and proficiency in spreadsheets, graphics and all Microsoft applications.
