Director of Architecture and Planning – New Orleans, LA

Our client is an international and publicly traded organization in the midst of global expansion efforts. This has resulted in the opening of a newly created career opportunity as Director of Architecture and Planning. This position will report directly to the VP of IT and will play an integral part in defining, planning and implementing IT architecture, infrastructure, applications, and delivery across 7 regions. This IT team strives to provide timely and excellent technical support with a high degree of customer satisfaction. We seek a capable leader with strong business acumen and proven experiences promoting and delivering IT solutions to solve day to day business problems.

General Qualifications Desired:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other academic degree that encompass a computer oriented curriculum
• 7+ years of international (absolute must) and “hands on” Information Technology management experiences to include managing IT leaders across multiple continents.
• Experience building enterprise IT organizations on a global basis from the ground floor
• Possess the business acumen required to successfully present technical solutions to non-technical executives to include return on investment for various projects
• Proven track record of managing multiple IT projects simultaneously on time and within budget
• Ability to travel as required by the needs of our internal customers (50% estimate)
