About the Job





A dynamic and entrepreneurial online marketing firm based in
the Bay Area has retained my services to locate potential candidates for a Director
of Business Development
opening within their organization.



 



The selected candidate will be responsible for aggressively
penetrating new online markets and growing and maximizing our current presence
in existing channels through a diligent sales and media strategy.  The
candidate is expected to bring extensive online marketing knowledge,
long-standing relationships, and organizational experience to help contribute
to the growth of the organization.



 



REQUIREMENTS



  • At
    least 8-10 years of online marketing experience, preferably in Affiliate
    or Direct Response Marketing.
  • Extensive
    experience managing a portfolio of large Publisher and Advertiser
    accounts.
  • Proven
    track record of growing online marketing start ups through diligent sales
    and operations.
  • Proven
    ability to lead, manage, and coach young teams.
  • Must
    compliment aggressive sales personality with a solid understanding of the
    product and marketing analytics.
  • Highly
    metrics driven -- define clear quantitative business objectives and
    persistently measure performance against those objectives.
  • BA/BS
    degree required, MBA preferred.
