About the Job
MAJOR DUTIES:
• Business Analysis: Maximizes business performance by participating in and managing key processes and analysis, i.e., establish metrics, track performance, generate reports, collect and analyze data as it relates to sub numbers, operational, finance, marketing, etc.
• Provide variance and trend analyses of capital and operating expenditures.
• Budgeting: Support the development of financial budgets and forecasts for the system.
• Support system business operations to ensure system and company financial and operational procedures are met.
• Best Practices: Utilize benchmarking tools to provide financial performance recommendations.
• Process Map of key business drivers that will deliver improved process and results, i.e., collections, payment processing, etc.
• Develop practice of post program analysis.
• Achieve Key Customer/Financial Annual Targets. Support system management with cost effective recommendations to strengthen operations and improve financial performance.
• Serve as a liaison, as needed between system management and the region/division finance team. Support of local business operations leaders.
• Maintain, coordinate and enforce system and company financial and operational procedures.
• Support system management with cost effective recommendations to strengthen operations and improve financial performance.
• Utilize computer-planning techniques to provide financial performance recommendations and leadership for all department managers.
• Conduct coaching sessions, corrective action and performance management with direct reports.
• Evaluate and manage system collection procedure and back office functions; make recommendations to improve bad debt expense levels.
• Responsible for managing all warehouse functions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills. Knowledge of Cable Data billing systems preferred.
• Must be proficient in database, spreadsheet, and graphic software applications.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage work in fast paces, multiple project environments.
• Strong mathematical skills. Leadership skills.
• EDUCATION: BA in Business/Accounting or the recognized equivalent in work experience. EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of cable system or similar experience in operations and financial related areas.
