You will manage all aspects of the Career Services department including:
Supervising the Career Services Representative to ensure budgeted placement objectives are consistently met and to ensure school compliance with American Institute, state, and accreditation regulations relating to placement.
Developing externship sites and job leads for all programs;
Teaching professional development workshops including resume writing, interviewing skills, and career readiness;
Actively assisting students and alumni with employment opportunities;
Dynamically networking with the employers’ community;
Track, report and document employment verifications;
Planning and executing meetings and events such as advisory boards meetings and graduation ceremonies.
Distribute, collect and analyze graduate and employer satisfaction surveys.
Maintaining graduates’ files and database.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, salaried position including occasional evening and/or weekend hours.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in the Postsecondary school industry and particularly the Medical Assisting, Dental Assistant, and Sonography programs.
Employment agency / staffing background, preferably in the healthcare field, or career services experience with a career school or college/university.
Must have strong public speaking and presentation skills
Must be a “hands-on” team player, organized, detailed & computer proficient with strong communication, marketing and customer service abilities.
Excellent communication and grammar skills.
Strong organization skills.
Must be goal and team oriented and pay considerable attention to details.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
