The Director of Career Services oversees all aspects of Career Services, including developing job leads, assisting graduates and alumni with job search, participating in Career Development courses, working with Executive Director and Home Office to achieve budgeted objectives and to ensure school compliance with State, Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation Regulations. Responsible for direct supervision of all Career Services staff.
Primary Responsibilities are as follows:
• Oversee development and implementation of weekly placement strategy
• Establish your placement benchmarks and manage to them
• Hire, provide orientation and training sessions, provide coaching, conduct employee evaluations, and attend management meetings
• Work with Education Department to schedule and conduct program advisory committee meetings, commencement ceremonies, and orientations.
• Assist active students in finding part time employment
• Maintain and update career services stopping stations
• Organize job fairs and employee interviewing, obtaining guest speakers
• Obtaining potential employers as guests for PAC meetings in accordance with Accreditation with State Agencies
• Maintain accurate graduate and alumni data base
• Compile and provide placement information to admissions and management departments
• Assist in researching the job market for new programs

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience must demonstrate previous management skills. Individual must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Position requires exceptional social interaction skills, intelligence, and integrity. Must be professional in all aspects of the position, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure and meet deadlines, technically proficient in computer research and database management, experience in networking and community-based business development.
