Searching for a Director of Engineering with a rubber chemistry background involving rubber bonding agents for heavy industrial progressing cavity pumps for a permanent position in Northeast Georgia. Responsibilities - Direct the designs of new and improved product lines for positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment and progressive cavity pumps
- Manager and support the design teams for improved manufacturing and processes
- Create a technical and engineering vision for the company and plan the implementation of new project development
- Create budgets, allocate resources and determine schedules of product releases or project deadlines
- Direct Test Department in pump testing analysis and dynamic test procedures for existing and new product development
Requirements - BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or technically related degree
- 6- 10 years of leadership experience directing design & development of positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment, and progressing cavity pumps
- Manages project engineers, CAD drafters, and test technicians
- Hire, training work assignments, performance reviews, complaint resolution
- Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of Design Engineering
- Rubber chemistry background in engineering and design involving bonding agents
