Seeking a MSEE with 8 plus years of experience to lead, manage and coordinate the work of a highly-skilled engineering staff developing a range of sensor systems, imaging technology, software and algorithms in a defense and aerospace R&D environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Plans and supervises day to day engineering functions.
Provides technical direction to engineering staff.
Monitors R&D programs to accomplish program goals on time and within budget.
RFP review and proposal preparation.
Other
Customer relationship management to include program reviews and business development.
Conduct briefings to Sr. level management, B2B and various government agencies.
Must work closely with Sr. level management on strategic planning and execution.
Requirements:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with DOD sensor system/payload programs for airborne and ground applications.
8 plus years leading and directing skilled Engineering staff. Demonstrated expertise in a variety of engineering concepts and practices including optics, electro-optics, and sensor system integration.
8 plus years of project and program management involving independent decisions and comparative responsibility. Expertise in schedules, WBS, cost, and resource management. CDRL's and PMP a plus.
Must have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen. This position requires a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
