Director of Engineering – Railroad Construction Projects

The Director of Engineering for Railroad projects will be responsible for the design, bid and proposal process for all railroad projects including track and turnout design, grading and drainage design, design of rail yards and other projects as assigned.  The Director will also manage design projects, tasks and related staff for railroad projects.  The Director will determine material quantities, material specifications, licenses, permits and certification requirements.  Will utilize AREMA Manual of Practice and FRA rules, standards and instructions to complete project work.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent education and experience.  10 or more years railroad engineering experience.
