The Director of Enrollment Services and Registrar position reports to the Vice President for Student Services and serves as a member of the student services leadership team which provides direction and vision to the division. This position has administrative responsibility for the planning and management of admissions, assessment, registration and records services including application, registration, degree audit, transcripts, credit evaluation, prior learning assessment, and Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting. This position serves as the college Registrar and Coordinator of the Student Management System (SMS).
· Responsible for registration and records programs including the development, maintenance and retention of student records in accordance with accreditation standards, state, federal and local guidelines.
· Manage all aspects of the registration process, including admissions, assessment/testing, credentials evaluation, prior learning assessment, and registration and records.
· Coordinate the Student Management System (SMS), including course construction, web registration, wait lists, degree audit and instructor briefcase.
· As college Registrar, assure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of student records in compliance with federal and state laws, including FERPA. Serve as custodian of the college seal.
· Work with instructional and marketing staff to ensure timely, accurate production of the quarterly class schedule.
· Supervise and evaluate staff with a focus on cross-training, customer service and team-building.
· Develop, prepare and monitor annual program budget and expenditures.
· Ensure accuracy of all student and course information reported to the State Board through MIS.
· Review and enforce TCC academic policies as described in the catalog, including resolution of complaints related to those policies.
· Serve as a member of the Student Services Leadership Team and participate in college governance by serving on committees as appropriate.
· Perform related duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Services.
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
· Three years professional level experience in Enrollment Services or equivalent education/experience.
· Strong computer experience utilizing a variety of business management software.
· Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
· Higher Education experience.
· Community College experience.
· Knowledge of Washington State Student Management System (SMS).
· Successful completion of a criminal history background check.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse population, both within and outside the college.

This is a full-time exempt administrative position contracted on an annual basis. The salary range for this position is $65,000 -$75,000 annually DOE/DOQ. The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual number of contract days worked in the remainder of the fiscal year.
