Nationwide Energy Partners, which provides innovative energy management solutions, seeks to hire a director of field operations at its headquarters located in the Arena District. This role is responsible for managing the construction and field operations at projects and customer locations in accordance with approved, plans, budgets and schedules.    Key responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:

 

• Preparing  scope of electrical and civil engineering services


• Negotiating  fees


• Preparing/reviewing design and construction documents


• Identifying and negotiating change orders


• Coordinating with contractors and resolving  construction issues


• Managing internal resources and subcontractors


• Managing project coordination


• Maintaining and communicating project progress


• Overseeing project accounting

 

The position directly manages utility lineworkers, construction associates, and meter technicians. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree and at least seven (7) years experience. Work experience must include: direct management of field or construction development activities, customer interfacing and relationship management with a service focus.  Energy or utility experience is preferred but not required.
