We have an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Finance. As a working manager, you will handle day-to-day accounting functions such as month-end closings, purchasing, cost accounting, and participating in the human resources function.  You will also be responsible for more strategic functions such as bank and insurance relations, strategic decision-making, risk analysis, and credit management. Your ability to perform ROI analysis on capital expenditures and future business expansion could make a real difference in our company.  You will also work with other departments on work flow process improvement and to roll-out and manage implementation of our new Enterprise Management System.  You will report directly to the President/CEO and will supervise a small accounting team in the above-listed functions.

 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree in accounting (CPA a plus), at least 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years of experience as a controller.  You must be a strategic individual with strong accounting, computer, and interpersonal skills.  You must have robust experience in a job shop environment; and preferred candidates will also have some experience in IT, HR, 401(k) and benefits, and general insurance.
