Growing government contractor based in the Washington, DC metro region is looking to bring on board a finance professional that can act in a strategic manner and at the same time, roll up their sleeves and get in the trenches of the everyday accounting/finance operation. This is an exciting time to join this entrepreneurial company as it builds out the infrastructure to support the next wave of growth and success.
The individual will be responsible for oversight of the Accounting functions and directly responsible for rate building, metric analysis, financial reporting, cash flow management and analysis, budgets, projections and project accounting.
Additional skills preferred: Maintaining banking relationships Deltek product (ie Costpoint/GCS Premiere) implementation experience Direct liaison with DCAA and public accounting firms Internal Controls – development and best practices
Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required, Masters degree and/or current CPA certificate preferred · Minimum 10 years accounting/finance experience in a government contracting environment · Strong organizational and communication skills · Proven leadership skills |
