Our client is in need of a Director Global Analytics, Measurement to be responsible for executing project design and analysis within the project to either lead and/or support Segmentation both globally and market by market.
This includes the development of analytical tools and techniques and the deployment of people, processes, content, and tools that are effectively integrated with other business and brand planning processes and will help brand teams optimize results, as well as training both locally and globally (both remote and on-site). The role requires a high degree of collaboration with business, brand, and sales leadership, the central marketing and strategy organizations, and finance. It requires a confident and persuasive leader with a successful track record developing and implementing strategic plans, building relationships with and influencing senior leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work primarily with internal customers (Brand Teams/Brand Managers). Responsible for delivering information to those teams as well as to the Global Marketing Group.
- Initially focused on 2 key measurement areas: pre- and post-campaign measurement
- Post-market measurement: Marketing mix modeling, marketing simulators
- Pre-market measurement: Communications testing, copy / campaign testing
- Post-market Measurement requirements
- Modeling analytics including regression
- Simulator experience and ability to develop, analyze scenarios
- Pilot test design
- Familiarity with new, evolving measurement approaches
- Ability to link short-term sales measures and longer-term brand equity measures
- Pre-Market Measurement requirements
- Experience across a breadth of pre-test areas: Brand positioning, concepts, communication ideas, integrated campaigns, copy testing
- Study design and stimulus development
- Message and campaign optimization
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Organizational Design, Marketing or related field. Master’s degree in Business or another analytical discipline Preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive general business experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Marketing Analytics
- Experience in a Global role
- Quantitative, statistical orientation
- Strategic problem solving ability
- Solid business orientation and ability to execute effectively and efficiently
- Adept at framework development
- Able to present a compelling, persuasive vision
- Able to argue and defend analysis and the implications of it to Management and Senior Executives
- Deep experience in a CPG organization
- Business-to-business experience in a Global role
